Rob

INNOVATION IN FOODSERVICE

Rob (1967) has been working for Sligro Food Group for over 20 years, since 2005 as Director Purchase. Sligro Food Group encompasses food retail and foodservice companies selling directly and indirectly to the entire food and beverages market. As a Board Member of the Sligro Food Group Rob was responsible for a € 2 billion budget, leading a team of 50 purchasers. Since September 2014 Rob started his own consultancy agency to the foodservice industry: CaminoR. Rob studied at Nyenrode Business University (PLMA Executive Program) and at Cornell University (Ithaca, New York), where he completed the Food Executive Program.

THE ART OF HOSPITALITY

Ilse (1977) is an alumni of Hotel Management School Maastricht and is a natural talent in the field of Hospitality. She is the Art of Hospitality! Being enthusiastic, proactive, and a 100% networker, Ilse got what it takes to be successful in the World of Hospitality. During the last 12 years she worked for many keystone Dutch companies and organizations, like Albron (Events & VIP Catering), the Maastricht Exhibition Congress Centre (MECC) and the Premier League Football club Roda JC. Since 2013 Ilse joined the team Hospitality Consultancy of Hotel Management Maastricht and supports many different companies and organizations to improve their hospitality.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Jeroen (1962) has 25+ years of experience as a trainer in many different fields of expertise. Since 2005 Jeroen has focused on the theme of Leadership Development in a Hospitality oriented environment. He is Professor in the Master Innovative Hospitality Management (MSc) that Hotel Management School Maastricht offers since 2004, in collaboration with ESADE Business School (Barcelona, Spain) and Oxford Brookes University (UK). Jeroen is a strong communicator, born with a lot of empathy, integrity and committed to cooperative solutions.

DIGITAL INNOVATION

Iris (1970), speaking Spanish and 4 other languages fluently, has built up professional experience in the Hospitality industry in several European countries. After graduating on a Master’s level both in Spanish and Economics, Iris built up a strong reputation in the field of Travel & Tourism, Media (including social media) and Destination & Hotel Marketing. Being responsible for € 1 million + budgets, Iris has a proven track record in the Hospitality industry. Next to this, Iris is a respected lecturer at several European universities, like Institute Paul Bocuse (Lyon, France) where she lecturers in the Master in Culinary Innovation and the Master in Hospitality Management. At EADA University in Barcelona and at Hotel Management School Maastricht she teaches in their Master programs in Hospitality Management.

BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY

Sacha has worked in Luxury Hotels & Resorts for leading international hotel companies across Europe Africa and Middle East for over 20 years. He has held Senior Leadership roles in Corporate Operations Support and has lead Change and Innovation across multiple properties and regions within the EAME Division. With background expertise in Human Resources and having touched all areas of the operation, he brings a wealth of experience in Project Management, having facilitated cross-cultural teams across all levels of the organization. "Start-Up projects, new hotel openings, process improvement, innovation, turning around distressed operations, working on Global initiatives to support the brand strategies... I have dedicated nearly 10 years on the road, in the operation, understanding guest needs, experiencing different idiosyncrasies and driving change." "My profound knowledge of the operation and an innate ability to read team dynamics, allows me to apply the best tools in the market to bring the best out of teams who are willing to innovate and go the extra mile to be at the cutting edge and beyond... " Sacha graduated with a DHMA from Hosta Hotel School in Leysin, Switzerland and has participated as Speaker in various universities and hotel schools in Spain, where he is based.

LUXURY INNOVATION

Pablo Alcacer joined The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd in September 2008 and currently serves as Director, Business Performance for a portfolio of 72 Luxury hotel members. As part of the Membership team his primary role is to drive revenue, ensure portfolio quality -as per strict company standards- and assist development with new potential applicants. Pablo is an expert on Hospitality & Gastronomy Luxury segment, a strong ambassador of excellence and inspirational leader. Prior to this Role, Pablo served as Marketing Manager for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. responsible for marketing, e-commerce & online distribution within the Iberia Region. Previously Pablo finished Starwood’s signature EMEA fast- track Graduate Management Program - Vita Futura. Pablo holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Hospitality Management from École Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.

RestaurantTech

Diego Coquillat is CEO of the digital newspaper DiegoCoquillat.com and 10Restaurantes.es. Instructor at several universities and author of the book "A new era in restaurants" is the creator of the concept "Social Media Restauranting", a term already recognised by the restaurant industry. He is also a consultant, lecturer and owner of the restaurant El Rancho Madrid.

Program will be held at the premises of Andalucia Lab in Marbella, according to the schedule set out in the program.

Andalucía Lab is a Technology Center focused on Tourism that provides great facilities and an adequate environment for the sessions. The Center offers entrepreneurs and travel professionals different venues: a Co-working space, Meeting rooms, Training classrooms, Auditorium, Demo Lab (a technology showroom for hoteliers) and other infrastructures for the development of travel businesses.

ACCREDITATIONS

Participants will receive an official certificate of participation in the program provided by Hotel Management School of Maastricht (HMSM).

  • - 50% discount for participants defined as unemployed with a working experience of more than 5 years in management positions
  • - 40 % discount for participants defined as entrepreneurs (minimum viable product on the market, CEO dedicated full time)
  • - 30 % discount for participants defined as big accounts that book more than one seat on the programme.
  • - 30 % discount for participants defined as autónomos (any activity related to tourism sector)
  • - 30 % discount for participants defined as newly qualified students in tourism / hotel management / restaurant management/other)

CANCELLATIONS

If unable to attend the course once formalized the enrollment, 60% of the amount will be refunded, provided that you contact at least 3 weeks before the start date. The replacement of the person registered by another of the same company may be made until the day before the start of the course
